Foster an inclusive and respectful environment
We celebrate diversity. Please ensure all shared content is welcoming to everyone and free from hate speech or discrimination of any kind, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability.
Keep our community safe and lawful
To maintain a trusted space for all members, please do not post or promote anything involving illegal activities.
Respectful Communication
We strive to maintain a welcoming and supportive space for everyone in the PeerPay Collective. All members are encouraged to communicate with kindness, empathy, and respect. Healthy discussion is welcome, and differences in perspective can be valuable—but they should always be expressed thoughtfully.
Harassment, personal attacks, insults, demeaning language, or any behaviour that undermines another member’s dignity will not be tolerated.
Protect privacy and honour others’ work
Please respect the privacy of fellow members and avoid sharing anyone’s personal information without their consent. When sharing work or ideas from others, ensure you have permission before doing so.
Credit your sources
We value learning, transparency, and respect for creators. When sharing content from external sources—such as journal articles, books, websites, videos, or other published materials—please make sure to credit the original author or publisher.
Resource Use
The resources made available through the Peer Pay Collective are for educational and informational purposes only and are not a substitute for accessing direct professional advice. We hope that the resources included at the Peer Pay Collective are an aid to your work and practice, but please note that the Peer Pay Collective is not a diagnostic or consulting platform. You are solely responsible for evaluating information obtained through the Peer Pay Collective.
Set and Honour Your Prices
You have full control over how you price your resources. A minimum price will be listed on the upload page and may change over time. Please ensure that buyers receive the complete content exactly as advertised, with no hidden or additional fees required. Resources sold on the Peer Pay Collective should not be priced higher than identical versions offered for free or at a lower cost elsewhere.
Be Accurate and Honest
Trust is essential to our community. Only sell resources you have personally created or designed. Your listing—titles, descriptions, previews, and included materials—should be clear, accurate, and truthful. Avoid misleading information and ensure everything you provide is complete, functional, and professionally presented.
Maintain Accessibility and Resolve Technical Issues
Sellers must ensure continuous access to all purchased resources. Every file must be complete, accessible, and fully operational. If any part of your resource is hosted externally, you are responsible for maintaining access. Buyers should not need additional paid software, tools, subscriptions, or external accounts to access their purchase unless this is clearly stated in your description.
ELIGIBILITY
The Peer Pay Collective is a professional, peer-to-peer marketplace designed for adults who share, create, and use high-quality resources. To participate as a Member and access the full range of our services, you must be at least eighteen years of age. By creating an account or using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
When registering, you agree to provide information that is accurate, current, and complete. This includes representing yourself honestly, respecting the rights of others, and refraining from impersonation or misrepresentation of identity, credentials, or affiliations.
From time to time, we may request verification of age, identity, credentials, or professional standing to help maintain the integrity and trust of the community. Accounts may be paused or closed if verification cannot be completed or if eligibility requirements are not met.
If you are creating an account on behalf of a school, practice, organization, business, or other entity, you confirm that you have the authority to act on its behalf and bind it to these Terms.
Accounts that have previously been closed due to breaches of these Terms are not eligible for re-registration unless explicitly approved by Peer Pay Collective.
USERNAME AND PASSWORD
You will be asked to choose a unique username when setting up your account. Usernames should be respectful, professional, and accurate, and must not be misleading, offensive, or infringe on the rights of others.
You are also responsible for creating and safeguarding your password. Your login credentials give access to your account, and you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether authorized by you or not. Please keep this information secure.
If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact Peer Pay Collective through the contact page as soon as possible so we can support you.
MEMBERSHIP TYPES
Buyers. Members may join as Buyers to explore, purchase, and download digital resources available through the Peer Pay Collective marketplace. Buyer accounts belong to the individual associated with the account email and profile details. Buyers may engage with content, leave feedback, save resources, and access additional features as they become available.
Sellers/Vendors. Members may apply to become Sellers in order to share and sell original resources they have created. Sellers may include individual professionals, educators, clinicians, consultants, researchers, or organizations offering materials developed by their team or contributors. Seller/Vendor status is reviewed and approved by Peer Pay Collective to support quality, relevance, and alignment with community values.
Seller memberships include all Buyer features, along with the ability to upload resources, manage listings and pricing, view sales and payout information, and access seller tools and optional promotional features. Available tools and features may vary depending on the Seller’s selected membership level.
Organizations, schools, practices, agencies, or other entities purchasing resources for broader or shared use may be subject to additional terms specific to organizational purchasing. Members linking their accounts to an organization must comply with these Terms as well as any applicable organizational agreements. Peer Pay Collective reserves the right to remove any links to external sites.
MEMBERSHIPS AND FEES
Purchases, taxes, and fees. You are responsible for all charges associated with purchases made through Peer Pay Collective, including applicable taxes and service fees. Pricing and estimated taxes are displayed at checkout. By completing a purchase, you confirm that your billing details are accurate and authorized.
Where required, Peer Pay Collective may calculate, collect, and remit applicable sales taxes. In jurisdictions where taxes are not collected at checkout, you remain responsible for any applicable tax obligations.
Buyers. Buyer membership is free. Buyers may apply to become Sellers at any time, subject to eligibility and approval.
Sellers/Vendors. Peer Pay Collective offers two distinct Seller membership options: Basic, which is free and Premium, which is an annual fee of $50. The two memberships vary in payout structure; Basic includes a payout rate of 55% on all sold products, and Premium includes a payout rate of 80% on all sold products.
Payout rates represent the portion of the sale price earned by the Seller for each resource sold through the platform, with the remaining amount supporting platform operations, maintenance, and community infrastructure. Rates may vary by membership level or resource type.
Current membership fees, transaction fees, and payout rates are outlined in our Seller Policies, which form part of these Terms. Where Seller memberships renew automatically, cancellation options are available prior to renewal. An email will be sent a month prior to renewal.
Peer Pay Collective may update membership offerings, platform features, fees, or payout rates from time to time. Where changes materially affect Members, notice will be provided in advance when required.
Sellers choose whether and how to use optional pricing, discounting, or promotional tools made available on the platform. Use of these tools is at the Seller’s discretion, and outcomes are not guaranteed.
Sellers are responsible for managing their own tax reporting and obligations related to earnings generated through the platform.
RELATIONSHIP
These Terms describe the full agreement between you and Peer Pay Collective regarding use of the platform. Membership does not create an employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship. Peer Pay Collective provides the platform and community infrastructure but does not act as an employer, agent, or representative of Members.
ACCOUNT CLOSURE AND DEACTIVATION
Closure by Peer Pay Collective. To protect the community and platform, Peer Pay Collective may suspend or close accounts at its discretion, including where these Terms or related policies are not followed.
Closure by You. You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support for assistance.
Effect of account closure. Once an account is closed, access to account information, purchase history, uploaded resources, and certain platform features may no longer be available. Accounts closed by Members may be reopened unless permanent closure is requested.
For Sellers, resources will no longer appear publicly on the platform; however, resources previously purchased by Buyers may remain accessible to them.
Service changes or discontinuation. Peer Pay Collective may update, pause, or discontinue platform services as needed. We are not responsible for impacts related to such changes, including loss of access to content or changes in earning opportunities.
For information about how data is handled and retained, please review the Peer Pay Collective Privacy Policy.
We may update or expand the Community Guidelines from time to time as the platform evolves. If a Member does not follow these guidelines, Peer Pay Collective may take action as needed to protect the community. This may include removing content or resources, limiting account functionality, suspending or closing an account, issuing refunds to Buyers, or taking any other action we determine to be appropriate in the circumstances.
COMMENTS, RATINGS, AND REVIEWS
Members may have the opportunity to leave ratings and written comments on resources they have purchased or downloaded (“Feedback”). Feedback should reflect your genuine experience using the resource for its intended purpose and must comply with our Comments and Ratings Guidelines.
Feedback is intended to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement across the community. Sellers may not leave feedback on their own resources or attempt to manipulate or undermine the integrity of the review system in any way.
Peer Pay Collective may place limits or additional requirements on leaving Feedback and may remove Feedback at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. In some cases, a Member’s ability to leave future Feedback may be restricted or removed.
REWARDS PROGRAMS
From time to time, Peer Pay Collective may offer optional rewards, incentives, or recognition opportunities for Members (“Rewards Programs”). Participation in any Rewards Program is voluntary and subject to the specific terms and conditions associated with that program.
Peer Pay Collective is not obligated to offer Rewards Programs or to continue them once introduced. We may change reward structures, eligibility requirements, or conditions at any time, and we reserve the right to withhold, revoke, or limit rewards or participation where misuse or policy violations are identified.
Rewards Programs may be modified, paused, or discontinued at any time, at our discretion.
MONITORING CONTENT
Peer Pay Collective may review, monitor, or assess activity and content shared on the platform to help uphold community standards, though we are not obligated to do so. We may investigate reports or concerns related to potential policy violations and take appropriate action.
Actions may include issuing guidance or warnings, removing content or resource listings, restricting account access, or suspending or closing a Membership. Decisions are made with the goal of maintaining a respectful, ethical, and high-quality professional community.
GENERAL PRINCIPLES
Licensing and ownership. Sellers/Vendors on Peer Pay Collective retain full ownership of the intellectual property rights in the resources they create and share. When a buyer purchases or downloads a resource, they are not purchasing ownership of the content, but rather a licence to use the resource under the terms outlined in this Resource Licensing Policy.
All downloadable or digitally accessed resources are licensed for use under either an Individual Licence or a Classroom Licence, depending on what is offered and selected at the time of purchase.
Your use of any resource is governed by this Resource Licensing Policy regardless of how the licence was obtained, including where the resource is purchased by you directly, provided through an organization, transferred to you by your employer, or purchased on your behalf. You agree to follow this policy as well as any additional terms included by the Seller in the resource listing, provided those terms do not conflict with these Terms. Where a conflict exists, this Resource Licensing Policy will apply, except where a Seller explicitly grants additional rights.
INDIVIDUAL LICENCE
An Individual Licence is assigned to one specific individual (“Assignee”) for that individual’s lifetime use. Individual Licences are non-transferable and may not be reassigned to another person.
With an Individual Licence, the Seller grants a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, worldwide, limited licence for use by one Assignee only, subject to the conditions outlined below. Sellers may choose to grant additional rights at their discretion.
If you purchase an Individual Licence, you may:
Assign the resource to one Assignee only. A single transfer to the intended Assignee is permitted when a resource is purchased as a gift or on behalf of another person or organization. Once assigned, the licence may not be reassigned or shared with another individual. Additional licences must be purchased for additional users.
As the Assignee of an Individual Licence, you may:
Unless explicitly permitted by the Seller, you may not:
GROUP LICENCE
Peer Pay Collective may offer transferable Group Licences for organizational or group use, where available. A Group Licences allows reassignment of a resource from one Assignee to another under defined conditions and are intended for use by organisations such as schools, practices, or agencies.
A Group Licence may be used by only one Assignee at a time. An organization must reclaim the licence from the current Assignee before reassigning it. Unless otherwise permitted, a Group Licence may be reassigned no more than once per calendar year.
Under a Group Licence, the Seller grants a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, non-sublicensable, worldwide, limited licence for use by one Assignee at a time, subject to these Terms. Sellers may grant additional rights at their discretion.
To purchase a Group Licence, you must contact Peer Pay Collective directly, which will reach out to the vendor to determine product eligibility.
As an Assignee of a Group Licence, you may:
Unless expressly permitted by the Seller:
LIMITATIONS ON ACCESS
Downloadable resources. Peer Pay Collective does not guarantee permanent or uninterrupted access to downloadable resources through the platform. If a resource is removed, hosting is discontinued, or your account access changes, your ability to re-download may be affected. You are responsible for storing copies of downloadable resources securely once accessed.
Digital and streamed resources. Access to non-downloadable or streamed resources may end if your account is closed or if Peer Pay Collective stops hosting the resource. Some resources may present accessibility limitations depending on format or assistive technology compatibility.
Security. Before downloading or uploading any resource, you are responsible for ensuring it does not contain viruses, malware, or harmful software.
THE PLATFORM AND SITE CONTENT
Except for content uploaded by Members, all elements of the Peer Pay Collective platform, including text, graphics, branding, layouts, user interfaces, logos, software, and design elements (“Platform Assets”), are owned or controlled by Peer Pay Collective and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or use Platform Assets for commercial purposes without explicit written permission. Commercial use includes resale, incorporation into your own business, marketing materials, presentations, or websites.
MEMBER CONTENT
Your rights. You retain ownership of the intellectual property rights in any content you upload or post to Peer Pay Collective. Peer Pay Collective does not claim ownership of your content.
Rights you grant to Peer Pay Collective. By uploading content, you grant Peer Pay Collective a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, sublicensable licence to store, display, distribute, and promote your content as necessary to operate, improve, and market the platform. This includes displaying resources in search results, enabling downloads, and promoting content through emails, advertising, or platform features.
Digital tools and services. Where Peer Pay Collective offers digital or interactive tools, you grant permission for your resources to be formatted, adapted, and delivered for use within those tools, including technical modifications required for secure and functional delivery. Ownership of the underlying resource remains with the Seller/vendor.
Rights granted to purchasers. When a Member purchases or downloads your resource, they are granted the right to use it in accordance with the applicable licence type and any additional terms you specify, provided those terms do not conflict with these Terms.
Digital users may, where enabled, interact with digital resources by adding annotations, overlays, or instructional elements for permitted instructional use. Such interaction does not grant ownership of the original content.
Security of your content. You are responsible for ensuring that the content uploaded does not contain harmful software.
Effect of account closure or resource removal. If an account or resource is closed, suspended, or removed, the resource will no longer be available for new purchases. Previously licensed users may retain access subject to these Terms and any retention limits. Peer Pay Collective may retain copies of content and communications for operational, legal, or archival purposes.
REPORTING INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY VIOLATIONS
Peer Pay Collective respects intellectual property rights and expects all Members to do the same. Members may not upload or share content that infringes on the copyrights, trademarks, or other rights of others. Resources must be original, used with proper authorization or meet the openly available to the public threshold.
Accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate intellectual property rules may be suspended or permanently closed.
Peer Pay Collective complies with applicable copyright laws, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Our Copyright and Trademark Policy outlines how to report suspected infringement and forms part of these Terms.
PURCHASING TERMS & REFUNDS
Refund Policy.
When you list a resource for sale or make a purchase on Peer Pay Collective, you agree to our Refund Policy. Unless otherwise stated in that policy, all sales are final once an order is completed and are non-refundable.
Peer Pay Collective may, at its discretion, update the Refund Policy from time to time or issue a refund on a case-by-case basis where circumstances fall outside the standard policy. Sellers are able to view refunds and any related notes in their sales or payout reports. Sellers may also request or authorize a full or partial refund for a Buyer by contacting Peer Pay Collective at admin@peerpaycollective.com

Peer Pay Collective may offer a range of payment methods, which may include credit or debit cards, PayPal, account credits, gift cards, or approved institutional purchasing methods. All transactions are processed in Canadian Dollars (CND). Cash payments and payments in other currencies are not accepted.
Accepted payment methods may change from time to time, and Peer Pay Collective is not obligated to accept any payment method other than those available at the time of purchase.
Invoices issued for purchase orders must be paid in Canadian Dollars and are payable within the stated payment period. Cash payments and payments in other currencies are not accepted.
Authorization to pay. When you make a purchase on Peer Pay Collective, including resources, memberships, credits, gift cards, or optional Seller services, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and billing information. You authorize Peer Pay Collective to charge the total amount due in Canadian Dollars.
Peer Pay Collective is not responsible for any additional charges imposed by your financial institution, such as foreign transaction fees or overdraft fees. In some cases, charges related to Seller services may be deducted from future payouts or charged to a saved payment method if available funds are insufficient.
Failure to pay and payment disputes. Failure to pay amounts owed may result in actions including late fees, removal of resources from your account, suspension or closure of your account, or other steps deemed necessary.
If a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated for a transaction linked to your account, Peer Pay Collective may provide documentation to contest the dispute. While a dispute is under review, access to the associated resources may be temporarily restricted. If a refund is ultimately issued, access to the resources may be permanently removed.
Additional account restrictions may apply where disputes occur.
Discounts and promotions. Peer Pay Collective may provide tools that allow Sellers to offer discounts or promotions. Use of these tools is optional and at the Seller’s discretion. Any discount or promotion may be modified, limited, or withdrawn at any time by the Seller and is subject to availability.
MARKETPLACE EARNINGS AND PAYOUTS
Marketplace earnings. When a Seller makes a sale through the Peer Pay Collective marketplace, they earn the applicable payout rate associated with their Seller membership (“Marketplace Earnings”). Marketplace Earnings are calculated based on the sale price of each resource, reduced by any applicable transaction or service fees.
Marketplace Earnings, together with any other earnings a Seller may receive through Peer Pay Collective, are referred to as “Total Earnings.” Details regarding Seller membership options, applicable fees, and current payout rates are outlined in our Seller Fees and Payout Rates Policy. Unless otherwise stated, Total Earnings are paid out on a monthly basis (“Payouts”) in accordance with the schedule described below.
Payout account. Peer Pay Collective works with third-party payment providers to process and transfer payouts to Sellers (“Payment Services”). To receive Payouts, Sellers must set up and maintain a valid payout account with a supported Payment Service (“Payout Account”).
A list of supported Payment Services is made available through the platform and may change from time to time. Questions regarding payout account setup, verification, or payment status should be directed to the relevant Payment Service. If a Seller is unable to establish a payout account using a supported provider, Peer Pay Collective may, at its discretion, consider alternative payout arrangements on a case-by-case basis.
Peer Pay Collective does not control or guarantee the performance of third-party Payment Services and is not responsible for delays, errors, or disruptions caused by those services. We may update, add, or discontinue supported Payment Services at any time.
Payout schedule. Payouts are issued monthly, typically on the first day of the month following the month in which the sale occurred. For example, earnings from sales made in January would be included in a Payout issued on the first of February.
Peer Pay Collective reserves the right to withhold or delay a Payout where there is a reasonable belief that a Seller may be in violation of these Terms or related policies. Once the matter is resolved, the affected earnings will either be paid out or refunded, as appropriate.
Payment service fees. Payment Services fees are inclusive of in your membership fee split. In rare occasions, Peer Pay Collective may charge processing or transaction fees when transferring funds to your Payout Account. Peer Pay Collective may deduct an amount equal to or less than the fee charged to us by the Payment Service from your Payout. These instances would be rare and on a case-by-case basis that would be communicated to the member in writing.
Sellers are responsible for any additional fees, taxes, or charges imposed by financial institutions or third parties in connection with receiving or accessing their Payouts.
SALES TAX
General responsibility for sales tax.
